Celebration Books

We're excited to announce Baker Celebration Books!

This is an optional opportunity to celebrate a special memory or milestone through a book donation in your child's name to the Baker Library collection. This can be from you or any family member or friend wishing to celebrate your child.

If you would like to purchase a book to celebrate a child, follow the steps below.

1. Visit this Amazon linkLinks to an external site. to see the list of a variety of books that would be great additions to the Baker Library.
2. Select the book you wish to donate to celebrate your child and complete your purchase - either through Amazon or the retailer of your choice. You may choose to ship directly to Baker Elementary School, Attn. Library, 2300 Morton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241 or you may drop off at the Baker Main Office.
3. Send an email to bakercelebrationbooks@gmail.com with the name of the book, name of the giver, child's name and reason for the celebration. This information will be printed on the bookplate label affixed to the book; please feel free to edit the information you want to include as needed.
4. Mrs. Connor will process the book for circulation, add the bookplate and provide the book for your child during their next weekly Library Special. They will then have the opportunity to be the first Baker student to check it out!

Thank you for supporting the Baker Library. Baker PTA is sponsoring the program by providing the printed bookplate labels and general coordination help to Mrs. Connor.
